I have taught for two different high schools and worked with a variety of students from all walks of life. I believe my success as a teacher comes from offering materials that are interesting and engaging, helping the student to learn in a way that is fun, developing a rapport with students, and making a personal commitment to them. Besides working in a teaching environment, I am an active sponsor of LifeSavers, where students learn about coping with various life issues, including depression. It's my pleasure to serve others in a way that makes a long-term difference in their lives. I'm here to work with students in just about any subject they need help in. This includes Algebra 1, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, English, Grammar, College Essays, College and High School English, Public Speaking, American and European History, Geography, Social Studies, and Math. I work with students to help them improve their study skills and offer homework support to those who need it, including organization skills. In my free time I love to travel and visit new places. I enjoy being outdoors and taking part in hiking trips, biking, and going on road trips to different parts of the country.
